Sandee’s Cake Swirl

I have taken the dul out of adult drinks. This year for Sandy’s birthday I invented a cake drink. Everyone who drank it knew what was in it, and really did enjoy it. Use the same shot glass for all three ingredients so the birthday person will have minimal dishes to wash.

This kind of drink, however, should not be reserved for birthdays alone. Use this method to spice up a piece of office or block party cake. You could even mix fruit cake with egg-nog for a fruity, creamy Christmas drink. Go wild.

Serve this drink icy cold right from the blender in frosty shot glasses for the weak or in larger glasses for people with a sweet tooth.

Sandee’s Cake Swirl
Makes 1 glass or 3 shots

1 chocolate cup cake with chocolate frosting (or one small slice of birthday cake)
1 shot of vodka
1 shot of Kahlua
2 shots of milk (whatever kind you have)
5-6 ice cubes
1 small scoop of ice cream (probably using a spoon and chocolate is best)

Place all ingredients into a blender, and liquefy for 20-30 seconds. Drink should have no chunks. Serve immediately.
